Your local utility company provides a one-time incentive payment to their customers who install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on their property. Through the Solar Incentive Program, commercial customers can save up to 50% of their initial solar system installation costs.

- Under the lease to own program, electricity and monthly solar panel costs normally cuts expenses by 30% (in case of 15 years lease contract) or 40% (in case of 20 years lease contract).
- Under the full purchase program, your monthly costs will be according to how much energy your solar panels generate. Best case scenario is you generate 100% of what you normally use which would result in no monthly payments to dwp!
- After a contract is sealed, even if electricity rate increases, there is no effect on amount of electricity supplied by the program. Therefore, the amount being saved becomes even greater when the electricity rate increases.
